Contemporary artist Chris Larson and Michael Kimpur, a leader in rural Kenya, want to take the Breuer house—the house Chris burned down summer 2013 as part of an art festival—from St. Paul, Minnesota and send it across the ocean to Kapenguria where it’ll be a clinic for the kids at Daylight.

I remember listening to the BBC reporter talk about the world beyond the Kenyan desert. The year was 1988 and there was one man they talked about so much: Nelson Mandela. As we mourn his passing I want to share my story and how Mandela changed the course of my life.
